These high-quality medium-weight aviation jackets are perfect for young pilots and other aviation enthusiasts! Each jacket has SEVEN real sewn-on embroidered aviation patches - two on each arm, two on the front and one on the back. All seven patches are USA patches from the military and NASA and include a Blackhawk helicopter patch and a Top Gun patch on the front, a Graduate Pilot and NASA logo patches on one sleeve, a USA flag patch and a NASA Moon Landing patch on the other sleeve, and a large USA Jump Team patch on the back! All sizes of these flight jackets have a durable center zipper, a real cool metal airplane zipper-pull, two snap-button front pockets, an authentic orange inner liner, plus elastic waist and wrist openings to keep trim and warm.
Materials include a nylon outer shell, nylon body lining, polyester jacket filling, acrylic sleeve lining and knit. Care instructions: Machine wash in warm water with like colors using a delicate cycle. Hang dry or tumble dry using the cool setting. DO NOT DRY CLEAN - this will damage the jacket!
SIZING HINT: Definitely use the jacket measurements listed here - and NOT the 'age' sizes to determine the best fit (the 'age' sizes will be too small for your child!). ONLY if unable to use these measurements to compare to a jacket which fits well, in general we suggest selecting a size aprox one year or more more than the child's age - ie sizing up a year or more. If the child is normal or above average in size, sizing up two, four or more years may be advisable. Best to select a jacket which is on the large size in order for the child to wear this for a longer time period as they grow, as well as to wear warm clothes underneath. And best to use the measurements here to get a good fit!

SLEEVE LENGTH - Jacket is measured from shoulder seam to end of jacket at wrist.
