These high-quality medium-weight aviation jackets are perfect for young pilots and other aviation enthusiasts! Each jacket has NINE real sewn-on embroidered aviation patches - two on each arm, four on the front and one on the back. All nine patches are USA patches from both the air force and navy and include a mixture of modern aircraft (Tomcat, Eagle, and on the back a large EA 6B Prowler patch) and vintage aircraft (B-17G) as well as a USS John F. Kennedy patch, an AIRSHOW USA patch with a historic aircraft, and an American flag patch on the left sleeve! All sizes of these vintage jackets have a durable center zipper, a real cool metal airplane zipper-pull, two snap-button front pockets, a white fluffy collar which can be turned up for extra warmth, an inner liner with a neat map design, plus elastic waist and wrist openings to keep trim and warm. Materials include a polyurethane outer shell, polyester body lining and jacket filling, nylon sleeve lining, and 100% acrylic knit on the elastic waist and wrist openings. Care instructions: Wipe clean with warm water and mild soap solution. DO NOT DRY CLEAN - this will damage the jacket! Note - this jacket looks like leather, but is not real leather - no animals were harmed to make this fun jacket! SIZING HINT: Definitely use the jacket measurements listed here - and NOT just the 'age' sizes to determine the best fit (the 'age' sizes will most likely be TOO SMALL for your child!). If unable to use these measurements to compare to a jacket there which fits well, we suggest selecting a size AT LEAST one year more than the child's age - ie sizing up a year - or MORE!.
